Educational Research
SESRC-Puget Sound conducts research on the relationship of K12 education to higher education, employment, and more.
Program Evaluation
Often, districts need to see whether their efforts are making a difference for students. SESRC has conducted evaluations of complex school, district, and state programs to identify the effects programs are having for students. Some evaluations include:
- How does Navigation 101 affect student enrollments in high school?
- Which students benefit most from on-line learning?
- How do teachers regard individual programs, such as math coaching?
- Do district and building administrators view science programs differently than teachers?
