Washington State Graduate Follow-up Study Reports

The Washington State Graduate Follow-up Study (GFS) is an annual effort of the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to provide data on post-high school activities of recent high school graduates in Washington State. The standard annual reports include outcome information for high school graduates in general, as well as students who have completed a vocational sequence at a Washington high school.

State Level Reports

In addition to the annual reports on students in the first year after graduation, multi-year reports are also available on prior graduating classes. Additional research reports on special topics are also available. All statewide reports are available on-line here.

The GFS database can be used to produce many additional reports and analyses beyond those currently available (e.g. profile of students who stop out of or change institutions of higher education).

District-Level Tables

School district administrators may request standard district-level tables, which summarize data about their own graduates. To request district or building-level summary data about your students, click here. Local tables must be requested by a school or district administrator and are not available online.
