The GFS database contains 3 types of information:

1. Student characteristics as reported on the P-210 and P-210VOC.  This data includes gender, ethnicity, graduation status, age, disability status, GPA, vocational program completion, tech prep status, and vocational area(s) of study (CIP).

2.  Student employment after high school.  This data includes monthly earnings, hours worked, hourly wage rate, industry of employment (SIC), employer location by state, employer location by county, and size of employing firm.

3.  Student enrollment in community colleges, 4-year colleges, private vocational schools, and apprenticeship programs for most higher education in Washington and some in neighboring states. In Washington, higher education records usually include college type, GPA, college area of study (CIP), credits earned per quarter, remedial math, and remedial English.

Because of the confidentiality requirements of the sources of this outcome data, the personally-identifiable raw data cannot be shared with local districts.  However, summary tables for school or school district use are not restricted by confidentiality rules.
