Internet Surveys
Web Survey Design
SESRC has experience in conducting a variety of on-line surveys. Using the current research being conducted by Don A. Dillman, SESRC is working to improve the design, implementation and response rates of on-line survey research.
Web Survey Design
The SESRC has a secure web based data collection procedure in place that relies on passwords and/or PIN numbers to ensure survey responses are confidential, that only respondents selected for the study have access to the survey, and that there is no duplication of survey respondents. The SESRC has developed basic online survey screen templates that are up-to-date with current web survey methodology. Features of our web-based survey include branching, error checks, data validation procedures and data saved question by question. Behind the web survey is a MS Sequel Server database, allowing for multiple users of the web survey simultaneously. SESRC web-based surveys work on a wide array of platforms and browser types.
Standardized Survey Methodology
The SESRC utilizes the most recent standardized survey methods. Click here for a brief description of these methods.
