Face-to-Face
Interviews
SESRC
has experience in designing and implementing face-to-face
surveys, and we have procedures in place and trained personnel
to carry out face-to-face surveys when this is necessary and
feasible. Because of the high costs involved in face-to-face
surveys, there has been a trend away from this survey mode.
Travel costs and personnel costs involved in face-to-face
surveys are typically higher than they are for mail, telephone,
or web surveys. However, for some surveys there is no other
way to contact respondents other than through a face-to-face
approach.
