Mission
The Center's
mission statement demonstrates its commitment to serving
the University community as well as providing valuable assistance
to external agencies and others:
"To
support social science research at Washington State University
and respond to the policy needs of public agencies and others
in Washington State and the nation."
In addition
to providing the highest quality of research assistance,
the SESRC's primary objectives are to:
- Design
and conduct surveys.
- Provide
technical consultation.
- Train
and educate graduate and undergraduate students.
- To
conduct innovative research designed to improve the quality
of survey methods in the field of public opinion.
